Our commitment to safety and joy
At Wildpaw Pathways, our primary goal in establishing these guidelines is to ensure every dog, owner, and session remains safe, fair, and enjoyable for all involved. We believe in creating a clear, kind space where dogs are always treated with respect, never put in situations causing fear or harm. Owners can trust that expectations regarding cancellations, payments, and health requirements are consistent for everyone. This allows us to focus on what truly matters: helping dogs learn and thrive through positive, force-free methods, free from confusion or last-minute surprises. Above all, we want our customers to understand: we genuinely care about your dog’s well-being and your peace of mind. These aren’t just rules; they protect the dogs first, maintain professionalism, and enable us to provide the thoughtful, personalised attention every pup deserves here in Trowbridge.

Your journey starts here: booking with ease
To ensure the best possible start for your dog, all bookings with Wildpaw Pathways begin with a complimentary 20–30 minute consultation. This chat, whether by phone, video, or in-person, allows us to truly understand your dog’s unique personality and your specific goals. Sessions are only officially confirmed once this initial consultation has taken place. Following our discussion, full payment for services, or a deposit for packages, will be due. Once processed, you’ll receive an instant link via email to our online calendar, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred date and time for your dog’s wildpaw adventure.
Once we've chatted about your pup during the free consultation and picked the ideal service or package, just make payment to lock in your spot. You'll instantly receive an email with a secure link to our calendar — choose your perfect day and time in seconds. Quick, easy, and tailored to you both! 🐾

Smooth sailing: cancellations & preparation
We understand that plans can change, and our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent. For a full refund or reschedule of your Wildpaw Pathways session, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before a session will incur a 50% fee, or credit can be applied to a future booking. Unfortunately, for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or in the case of a no-show, the full session fee will be charged. When preparing for a walk or training session, please remember to bring a comfortable lead and harness (a front-clip harness is often preferred for training), high-value treats if your dog has favourites, a water bowl, and enough poop bags. Ensuring you have these essentials helps us make each session effective and enjoyable for your beloved companion.

Pawsitive care: essential details for your dog
The safety and well-being of your dog, and indeed all dogs in our care, are paramount at Wildpaw Pathways. We require crucial information about your dog’s health, behaviour, and specific needs to provide the best and safest experience. This includes ensuring all vaccinations are up-to-date, particularly core vaccines and Kennel Cough for group activities, along with current flea, tick, and worm treatments (please provide date of last dose). We also need to know about any ongoing health conditions, medications, or recent vet visits, as well as any known allergies (food, environmental, insect stings) or a history of injuries, surgeries, or mobility issues. Additionally, please inform us of their spay/neuter status and any current heat cycles.
For behaviour and personality, it’s vital to disclose any known reactivity to other dogs, people, noises, or bikes, including how far away a trigger is before a reaction. Any history of aggression or biting, no matter how minor, must be shared. Knowing your dog’s comfort level around new people, children, or other dogs helps us tailor the environment and ensure positive interactions for everyone. This comprehensive understanding allows us to create custom pathways that respect their unique personality while helping them thrive in Trowbridge and beyond.
